Abstract
In this paper, the process of damage on rock-soil material is traced and investigated by using white light digital speckle correlation method. The starting point, width and sloping angle of localization in granite, coal and soil three kinds of rock-soil material is obtained, and the rule of deformation localization is discussed. The result proved that white light DSCM is a new means in studying the deformation localization of brittle materials.
