Clinical analysis on relationship between gallbladder cancer and gallstones

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between gallbladder cancer and gallstones.Methods Clinical analysis was made in 47 cases of gallbladder cancer and 2863 cases of gallstones.Results 47 cases of gallbladder cancer with gallstones received treatment of surgery.The survival rate in one,two,three,four and five years was 97.8%,68.08%,59.57%,25.53% and 4.25%,respectively.The cholecystectomy was performed in 1069 cases of patients gallstones.Conclusion It is suggested that gallbladder cancer correlates closely with gallstones and cholecystectomy should be recommended to the patients with gallbladder stone in the preventing the pathogenesis of gallbladder cancer.
