Synthesis and Application of Polyurea

Abstract

Polyurea can be synthesized by the reaction of diisocyanate and diamine or diisocyanate and water.The methods to synthesize polyurea by direct polymerization,solution polymerization,emulsion polymerization,vapor deposition polymerization,etc.,was commented.In present work,the research progress of polyurea was reviewed.The application of polyurea in reaction injection molding(RIM) and spray polyurea elastomer(SPUA),polyurea microcapsules,vapor deposition polymerization(VDP) was discussed.The prospect of research and application of polyurea was viewed.
