The Industrial Characteristics and Development of the Logistics Industry

The author believes that great progress has been made in the Restructuring and Rejuvenation Program of the Logistics Industry in the understanding of the characteristics of the logistics industry.The integrated characteristics of logistics industry are demonstrated in such three aspects as the integration of different patterns of logistic service,the integration of service target and the integration of management and policy.Driving forces for the development of logistics industry come from the requirement of integrating logistic activities,decreasing cost,providing information service and realizing capital value added.The logistics industry can help promote the development of both the micro economy and macro economy.To accelerate the development of logistics industry,we should solve such problems as the application of logistic technology,the upgrade of logistics related infrastructure and the mode transformation of service enterprises,positioning problem of the development of logistics industry in a certain region,and policy and development environment which is coordinate with the first three problems.
