Abstract
The removal of Raney nickel catalysts fine particles by ceramic microfiltration membrane was performed. The effects of operating perameters, such as filtration pressure, crossflow velocity, working temperature and feed concentration on the membrane flux were investigated. The simple and effective method for cleaning ceramic membrane and suitable operating parameters were proposed. The experimental results indicated that the fouling phenomenon of the ceramic membrane was not severely, the filtration resistance was mainly due to the cake formed on the membrane surface. The membrane stable flux was 1 050 L/(m~2·h),and the nickel content in permeate was less than 3 mg/L under proper operation conditions with membrane pore size of 0.2 μm.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
