Abstract
The water resistance of composite cement made by phosphoaluminate cement and Portland cement was studied by water resistance norm. The water resistance mechanism of composite cement was analyzd by means of XRD and SEM. The results indicate that hydration rate of phosphoaliuminate and silicate composite cement is higher than Portland cement and the paste microstructure of composite cement is more dense, the symmetry and stability of AFt are improved at the early period of hydrate of composite cement, which restrains the change from AFt to AFm Therefore, the former has good ability of water resistance.
