Abstract
[Objective]To explore the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy(HBO) on liver ischemic reperfusion(IR),and its intervention method.[Methods]40 male SD(Sprague-Dawley) rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: sham operation group(SO group),ischemia reperfusion group(IR group),once hyperbaric oxygen therapy group(HBO1 group),and twice hyperbaric oxygen therapy group(HBO2 group). The revive time was observed. The view of the liver was compared 5 days after the operation. The levels of serum alanine transaminase(ALT) and aspartate transaminase(AST) were detected. The hepatic tissue was observed with light microscope.[Results]The rats in HBO groups were revived quickly than other groups, and all rats were awake. The degrees of liver blood stasis and edema were slight in HBO groups. The level of ALT and AST in HBO1 group was 395.52 U/L and 431.75 U/L respectively, which the differences in levels of ALT and AST between HBO1 group and IR group were significant(P 0.05).Under the light microscope, the mildest edema of liver cells was seen in HBO groups but most serious in IR group.[Conclusion]Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has a protecting effect on liver ischemic reperfusion injury, and the effect of therapy once daily is the same as that of therapy twice daily.
