Abstract
As a special organizational form of class system, combined instruction is significant to the educational development in the underdeveloped regions and parts of the special period. In recent years, China's vocational education has made considerable progress; however, some vocational schools are still facing problems, for instance, weak policy support, recruitment difficulties,inadequate infrastructure and the need to improve the teaching quality. Currently, as the teaching reform moves to explore in multiple directions, combined instruction has a certain referential value to vocational education. Based on the case study, it analyses the current situation of the combined instruction of a private vocational school in Tianjin, and analyses the pros and cons of modern combined instruction, and discusses the applicable suggestions for improvement of modern combined instruction in vocational education.
