Abstract
The effect of copper leaching from lean copper ore with acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans was studied. The results of experiment showed that optimal conditions for leaching copper with shake flask was pH of 2.0,the ore pulp density of 10%,the biomass of 20%.Comparing with sterile leaching, under the same conditions the leaching rate was increased by over 30%.The study of dynamic column leaching showed that the leaching rate of copper reached above 37%after 10days when the velocity of bacteria leaching solution was 6.03cm/h.Comparing with sterile leaching, under the same conditions the leaching rate was increased by about35%.
