This paper expounds the present situation of the water and soil conservation in Shanxi Province, analyzes some main problems existing in the current water and soil conservation work, and puts forward some countermeasures of innovating the mechanism and system of water and soil conservation, expanding the funding channels, perfecting the funding system, and paying adequate attention to treatment in later period, etc.
