Abstract

This paper introduces the VTOL technology and studies the helicopter mode and the airplane mode of the tiltrotor aircraft.We have a research on the concept and plan for the tiltrotor aircraft and put forward spec requirements for the tiltrotor aircraft.After we study the development and the key technology of the tiltrotor aircraft,we find that the tiltrotor aircraft not only posses the good concept but also become the mature technology.The application of the tiltrotor aircraft would become wide and wide.
