Development and Application of Drilling Sand Pump

To solve effectively the problem of sand removing in low-pressure absorption wells,a drilling sand pump was developed.It mainly comprised of downhole sand pump,sand barrel and drilling tool.Drilling sand pump fulfills its function of removing sand accumulation in oil well by cooperating with a workover rig.The workover rig just makes the tubing string go up and down to bring sand into the sand barrel.After 62 times application it shows that it has following features: removing sand thoroughly and quickly because it can drill downwards;easy to use and low operation cost;no damage in low pressure reservoir;applicable to most well,especially to consolidated sand well.
