Abstract
Facing the demand of 3D model is transmitted to workshop, the product model variant design system(MO-VDS)is put forward and designed for NC machining simulation. The accurate technology reference model used for NC machining simulations is generated using Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 as developing language,Pro/Toolkit as developing tool and structure design model as developing object. The definitions and logical relationships of design model, technology reference model and dynamic technology model are researched. The construction methods of technology reference model are elaborated.Meanwhile, the storage processes in PDM for design model, technology reference model and dynamic technology model are described. Finally,an application example of this system is implemented.
