It is found that songs had the potential to change the atmosphere in the classroom and they might have a positive effect on the teaching activities. Songs are not only can motivate the students but also can fulfill other functions in English class. Songs can be used in various ways. During the procedure of using songs in English language teaching, there are some important points to be considered. It is very important to choose suitable songs for different purposes.
