Abstract
According to the new metallic materials Brinell hardness test standard GB/T 231.1 - 2009,the Brinell hardness test was done to a standard hardness block with hardness of 106 HBWlO/1000,and the uncertainty for Brinell hardness test was evaluated.Some details of uncertainty evaluation for Brinell hardness test in new standard were illustrated.At the same time author's opinions about the evaluation method of some uncertainty components in GB/T 231.1 - 2009 were proposed.The result show that the Brinell hardness value of the tested hardness block is(107.2±5.0) HBW10/1000,k=2.
