Abstract
By testing chemically combined water content, porosity and compressive strength of hardened pastes with different contents of fly-ash,characteristics of cement and fly-ash composite under the steam curing and standard curing are studied. The experimental result indicates that steam curing increases early hydration velocity of cement and fly-ash composite binders and improves early compressive strength of hardened pastes. However, compared with standard curing, the aperture of hardened pastes under steam curing is coarser, and the late compressive strength increases more slowly.
