Abstract
In this paper, the up-to-date advances and development trend in grassland ecology environmental studies in the world were reviewed, and an in-depth analysis of issues facing grassland environment and sustainable utilization in China was made.Accurate farming of grassland,an innovative, new concept, was proposed for the first time.Perspectives on the new-era strategies for advancing grassland ecology environmental studies in China were expounded. Finally, chances for making breakthroughs in the ecological studies of grassland environment in China were justified, with a view to providing scientific support for policy-making as well as for national planning design of research directions and new projects in the future.
