Abstract
In the article,the characteristics of iron ore used commonly in Baotou Steel currently such as the assimilability,liquidity,calcium ferrite and strength of binding phase are studied with mini-sintering process in the laboratory.The test results show that the basic sintering characteristics of different iron ores are different.The optimization of ore proportioning for sintering could be implemented according to the evolution for basic sintering characteristics of iron ore.
