Abstract
A scheme for reducing the sulfur content of gasoline in catalytic cracking process is proposed, and the catalytic cracking catalyst DS Z3 for removing sulfur from FCC gasoline is developed. The desulfurization effect of catalyst is evaluated on a fluidized bed apparatus. Under appropriate ratio of DS Z3 to FCC catalyst and reaction conditions, over 30% sulfur can be reduced in comparison with only FCC catalyst being applied, and the yield of gasoline as well as the yield of C 3+C 4 can be improved simultaneously. The DS Z3 catalyst has excellent propreties of desulfurization and hydrocarbon cracking activity. The alkene content in gasoline can be reduced, and its octane number can be raised by adding DS Z3 catalyst in catalytic cracking process.
