Abstract
To obtain excellent cineol type camphor tree with high eucalyptol content in essential oil of leaves, camphor trees with diameter at breast height greater than 15 cm were collected at Jinggangshan university campus, then the volatile oil were isolated by steam distillation and analyzed and identified by gas chromatograph mass spectrometer(GC-MS). Three volatile oil samples were obtained from five camphor tree leaf samples, among which the main constituent of volatile oil I is eucalyptol(63.993%), and I is deduced as cineol type. Our results suggested that one superior camphor tree with high eucalyptol content in leaf oil was obtained at Jinggangshan University campus.
