Abstract

A low-voltage bandgap voltage reference, which is compatible with standard CMOS process,is proposed in the paper. The circuit adopts 2nd-order curvature compensation and contains a tow-stage op-amp.And it is implemented in a stanard 0.8-μm BSIM3v3 CMOS technology, with V_(thn)=0.85 V, V_(thp)=-0.95 V,at 0 ℃.Simulation with Cadence Spectre shows that the proposed bandgap voltage reference can operate at a minimum supply voltage of 1.8 V,and the voltage reference output is 590 mV.Within the temperature range from 0 ℃ to 100 ℃,a temperature coefficient of 15 ppm/℃ is achieved, and the line regulation at 27 ℃ is ±2.95 mV/V.
