Abstract
This paper makes a survey on the colorful leaf plants in parks,sight-seeing points and main roads in Changsha city.Based on the survey, the author makes a tentative classification on the colorful leaf plants,analyses their geographical origin,summarizes their ornamental characteristics and applications in landscape,which provide the city with the scientific references to introduction,choice and applications of colorful leaf plants.
