Research Advances on the Bibiometrics-based Co-word Analysis

This paper analyzes the research characteristics of co words at home and abroad by bibliometrics.First of all,based on Web of Science,this paper analyzes the distribution of co-word analysis method research papersoverseas,and educes productive authors,countries,institutions,journals and so on.It also analyzes the characteristics of several papers with the highest citation frequency.Then,based on Chinese science and technology periodicals database(1989-2007) developed by Chongqing Wei-pu Ltd,it analyzes the cooperation of the authors、periodicals distribution about co-word analysis and so on at home.That will help us to grasp the core author and the focus of the study area about this method at home and abroad.
