Abstract
The demonstrative pronouns in the Uyghur language are rich and colorful.By contrasting and analyzing the demonstrative pronouns in ancient Turkic-Uyghur languages and contemporary Uyghur languages,this paper illustrates the historical evolution as well as the source and components of Uyghur demonstrative pronouns.
