Application of PBL Teaching Method in the Teaching of Information Retrieval

Abstract

Through the analysis on the problems in the current information retrieval teaching and PBL's function in teaching application,the paper obtained that PBL is feasible in the information retrieval teaching,because of the PBL's portability and the conjunction spot between PBL and information retrieval teaching.Simultaneously how to carry on the application of PBL in the information retrieval teaching and some problems with special attention in the teaching application were further discussed in the paper.
