Abstract
Objective To study in patients with type 2 diabetes, plasma lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lipoprotein-associated phos-pholipase A2,LP-PLA2) content as well as the changes of endothelial function. Methods 60 patients without vascular complications and in accordance with the the diabetic diagnostic criteria of the World Health Organization in 1999 patients with type 2 diabetes (type 2 diabetes group) and 30 age-and sex-matched healthy individuals (control group).Determination of object lipids, blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin,LP-PLA2.Were measured in each subject the rest, after reactive hyperemia and after sublingual nitroglycerin brachial artery diameter.Determination of baseline values (D0),brachial artery diameter (D1),brachial artery inner diameter (D2).Reactive hyperemia and changes in brachial artery diameter after sublingual nitroglycerin, the first measurement of the percentage of the underlying value (D1-D0) /D0×100% (D2-D0) /D0×100%,respectively,on behalf of flow-mediated endothelium-dependent vasodilation function and nitroglycerin-mediated endothelium-dependent vasodilation. Results Compared with the control group, the type 2 diabetes group total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein, fasting blood glucose,LP-PLA2 was significantly higher, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol significantly reduce (t=1.999-2.311,P0.05) type 2.2 diabetes group,flow-mediated vasodilation [(3.52 +0.42%)] was significantly lower than the control group (4.67 +0.32%)](t=2.316,P 0.05).The basis of vessel diameter, the basis of blood flow,nitroglycerin-mediated vasodilation in the 2 groups was no significant difference (P 0.05).Conclusion Type 2 diabetes plasma LP-PLA2 increased endothelium-dependent vasodilation reduce both negatively correlated.
