Abstract

The Puzzle of the Gross Amount of , namely per unit goods is in inverse proportion to labor productivity and the gross amount of is independent of labor productivity; on the basis of the same labor time, the gross amount of is invariable. However, according to factual statistics, the Gross National Product calculated on the basis of fixed price always increases, as if it were in direct proportion to labor productivity. If the proposition were right, then Gross National Product would be the gross amount of social productive wealth in a year, but Gross National Product is a totaling of all individual value. To solve the puzzle, some scholars bring forward that labor productivity is in direct proportion to value, but the theory still can't justify itself. The sticking point is that our cognition towards the category of Gross National Product is ambiguous and that our understanding towards Marx's labor theory of is not comprehensive, systematic and dialectical as desired. If we realize that the category of is a dialectical system, and survey it from the perspective of international value , then so- called the Puzzle of the Gross Amount of Value will not exist.
