Abstract
Objective:To investigate the age, location and histological type, etiology of uterine smooth muscle tumors. Methods: All 602 cases of uterine smooth muscle tumor specimens were embedded in paraffin,HE staining, optical microscopy. Results: Of 602 cases of tumors more common were in the intramural, subserosal, submucosal were rare, the peak age of onset between 40-50 years. Conclusion: The most common is benign smooth muscle tumors, malignant smooth muscle tumors are rare, uncertain malignant potential diagnostic criteria of uterine smooth muscle tumor is difficult.
