Status Analysis and Development Strategy of Harbor Logistics Industry in Hainan

Hainan port logistics industry has experienced a rapid development during the eleventh five-year-plan period,and a port situation of comparable scale and the industry cluster of harbor industrial zone are coming into being.But it still faces challenges,such as insufficient demand in a long term,pressure of competition from surrounding ports,structural contradiction,low modernization,etc.Therefore,Hainan province should give full play to its own advantages in geographic location,policy,cost,etc,grasp the chance of Information Intelligent Island to promote its port logistics modernization,strengthen the complementation between colleges and enterprises to implement the policy of revitalizing port through talents,introduce investment of international large-scale logistics enterprises to play the role of benchmarking effect,focus on investing logistics transfer stations at deepwater ports to form the strategy of industry cluster,and realize the modernization of harbor logistics industry in Hainan.
