Abstract
n-Butyl chloroacetate was synthesis from chloroacetic acid and n-butanol in the presence of p-toluene sulfuric acid. The yield of the ester could reach 93.3% under amount of substance ratio of chloroacetic acid, n-butanol and p-toluene sulfuric acid were 1:2.5:0.05, refluxing and water segregating for 90min.
