Abstract
One hundred and twenty-three soil samples of typical tea plantation were collected in Hubei Province and soil nutrient status were analyzed and evaluated.The results indicated that soil acidification was severe with 49.6% of the soil pH lower than 4.Soil organic matter,total nitrogen,available nitrogen,total phosphorus,available phosphorus and available calcium were abundant.46.6% of soil potassium was deficient and 27.1% of soil available magnesium was lower.Concentration of soil available iron was moderate,soil available copper was seriously deficient and 83.1% of soil available copper was less than 1 mg/kg.1/3 of the soil available manganese and available zinc content were approximately lower.Amelioration the soil acidification and increase the application of fertilizer potassium,magnesium,cooper,manganese and zinc are critical for improving the yield and quality of tea of tea plantation in Hubei Province.
