Abstract

Objective To study the clinical characteristics and therapy of sever Mycoplasma pneumonia in children. Methods 20 cases of severe Mycoplasma pneumonia were retrospectively analyzed. Results All the children with severe Mycoplasma pneumonia were severe Mycoplasma pneumonia severe Mycoplasma pneumonia had high fever for more than one week;WBC and CRP were increased,ESR were also increased. The IgM antibody to Mycoplasma pneumonia were positive.16 cases showed atelectasis or mile to moderate pleural exudates;5 cases manifested pulmonary consolidation;10 cases had abnormal liver function;1 case had encephalitis. After giving azithromycin and glucocoticoid treatment, deficts recoverd to some extent. Conclusion Mycoplasma pneumonia could be Mycoplasma pneumonia sever.therapy with macrolides and glucocoticoid has a sure effect for severe Mycoplasma pneumonia.
