Migration Research and Implementation Based on S3C2440 Embedded Linux System

Abstract

As the development of the microprocessor technology,embedded system has been widely used.It is a chief problem to the father application of the embedded system to the research and application of a small,real-time and good capability embedded operation system.The method and process of porting Linux to the board based on S3C2440 processor are described.Firstly,the target platform and Linux-2.6.23.14 kernel are introduced.Meanwhile,the hardware architecture of the board is presented.The structure and function of Bootloader and the porting of Linux-2.6.23.14 kernel are discussed in detail.The ported Linux works well in the embedded system.The research is conducive to application of the embedded technology.
