Investigation on countermeasures for water environment management and water pollution prevention in Dianchi Lake

After analyzing the water pollution situation in the Dianchi Lake,this paper points out some causes of water pollution,such as lake aging,contamination over-releasing,water resource shortage,and slow flowing of water and substance in and out,etc.The authors propose some strategies and key techniques for pollution control.It is suggested to enlarge the amount of regional water resources,to control the total amount of incoming pollutants,to treat water pollution comprehensively,and to improve the operation mode of the Dianchi Lake,etc.A total amount of the incoming pollutants from the surrounding area of this lake is specified.A simulation is conducted to predict the improvement of aquatic environment by diverting foreign water into the lake and by changing the operation mode of the lake.This investigation would provide some scientific bases for water pollution treatment of the Dianchi Lake.
