Clinical observation on treatment of tibial plateau fracture with locking plates

Objective To explore the methods and clinical observation on treatment of tibial plateau fracture with locking plates.Methods From July 2007 to December 2009,using of locking plate internal fixation for tibial plateau fracture 30 cases,the male 19 cases,female 11 cases,Age 27-70,average 38.9 years old;Closed fracture 26 cases,open fractures 4 cases.Fracture Schatzker method,using parting type I 1 case,Ⅱ type 2 cases,Ⅲ type 5 cases,Ⅳ type 6 patients,V type 13 cases,Ⅵ type 3 cases.The clinical data of 30 cases Were retrospectively analyzed.Results 30 patients were followed up for 7-18 months,mean 12.6 months,all cases were 6-9 months after bone union.According to Merchant criterion,excellent in 20 cases,good in 7 cases,in 2 cases and poor in 1 case,the total fine rate was 90.0%.All patients without internal fixation loosening,fracture or loss of fracture reduction phenomenon.Conclusion The locking plate for treatment of tibial plateau fracture of tibial plateau can provide is a good reduction and mechanical stability,ease of early exercise,joint function were satisfactory.
