Abstract

The separate layer steam injection technology for shallow heavy oil wells with thin interbeds was researched to develop the shallow heavy oil reservoirs in Henan oil field.The reservoir have some features,such as shallower,thinner and smaller interbeds.The technology mainly consists of high temperature packers that are stetted by hydraulic and not limited by temperature.Due to its short,simple structure,it is suited for the separate isolation in the thin interbeds,and it can control steam injection in multi-zone reservoirs.In addition,the combination of the production strings and separate steam injection strings may decrease the operation of steam injection strings running and pulling,reduce the operating load and eliminate the waste of heat during operation.
