Abstract
A Bacillus strain which had highly effctive denitrification as the original strain was used to study the characteristics of growth and elimination nitrogen under aerobic conditions. The results showed that it had high denitrify ability even in condition with high-concentration of nitrite. And when sodium acetate played as carbon source,Bacillus D5 had highest denitrification effciency. When the concentration of carbon source was 0.2 mol/L,the initial pH at 7.0,dissolved oxygen at 5~7 mg/L,and 36℃,Bacillus D5 possessed the optimum denitrification activity. As compared with other denitrification bacterium in the report, bacillus strain had the superior oxygen-resistance,and higher denitrification rate.
