Abstract
In the application of inclinometers, its accuracy is influenced by the measuring error of accelerometer. To improve the measuring precision of the inclinometer, the error of sensors itself is modeled and analyzed.According to the principle of the accelerometer inclinometer, the error source is the measure error of sensors. Then, measure error mathematic models are established, and the models are verified by simulation analysis and experiments. The models not only give the smallest error range of measured pitch and roll, but also provide theoretical reference for sensor selection and error analysis and compensation. It has certain practical values.
