Selection of Seal Air Fan for Medium Speed Coal Pulverizer

Abstract

Seal air fan is the main corollary equipment of the pressurized direct firing type coal pulverizing system.Correct selection will not only reduce the damage of pulverizer's seal and its internals,but also make the boiler unit operate stably.The functions and the operating process of the seal air fan have been introduced and some problems have been analyzed because of unreasonable selection.Fan selection has been carried out with some examples from power plants.
