Abstract
Objective To summarize the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) characteristics of biflavonoids from Selaginella. Methods The structures of 5 biflavonoids isolated from 50% ethanol extract of Selaginella tamariscina were elucidated by NMR spectra analysis. The NMR characteristics of biflavonoids from Selaginella were summarized by analysis of the spectral data and published literatures. Results The NMR characteristics of 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectra of biflavonoids from Selaginella were summarized. Conclusion The NMR characteristics of biflavonoids from Selaginella have been reported, which may provide the basis for quick structure elucidation and assignment of the NMR signals of such compounds.
