Abstract
In this paper, analysis was made on the evolution characteristics of gas explosion wave in its propagation process in the roadway and simulation was carried out with AutoReaGas software on the evolution law of the explosion wave when it propagated along an open straight roadway. The research results showed that the explosion wave can be roughly divided into the forerunner shock wave, thermally compressive wave and sparse wave in view from the waveform;in the early stage of explosion, the explosion wave steadily propagated at a speed close to the sound speed;and the overpressure peak of explosion tended to decrease first and then increase. The analysis results indicated that some relevant preventive measures should be taken in the region with larger overpressure so as to reduce the losses caused by gas explosion.
