Abstract

The specific composition, biomass, distribution and diversity of the inhabit's density, and the connection of the sediments' environment are studied in southern estuary of the Minjiang Estuary.114 species of benthos are indentified and 63 of them are the class polychaeta(55%) mostly. The total benthis biomass is14.42 g/m2 and most of them are crustaceans(29.7%);the total density is 161 ind/m2 and most of them are the class polychaeta(37.9 %). According to the diversity, where the community is better, the index, the abundance and the evenness is better. The Branchiostoma sp stays at the estuary of Quanzhou Bay,the corner of Zhenhai and the Futou Bay, which is worth of protecting and be thinking of;and so much Listeiolobus brevirostris is founded in the Xinghua Bay of Putian and Zhaoan Bay of Dongshan, which has the merit of resource utilization.
