Abstract
Through the particle-size analysis of loess, measurement of moistu re content and determination of loess solution conductivity, this paper systematic ally studies on the changing features of the moisture content of loess stratum, and recognizes preliminarily that on the same loess cross section the soil quali ty is an important factor determining the volume of the moisture content, and in gas rich loess stratum, the variation of loess moisture content possesses obvio us positive correlation with clay particle content, and between the moisture con tent and the conductivity there is a fluctuation from top to bottom.
