Abstract

Objective To analyze clinical species of pathogenic bacteria, features of microbial population and status of drug fast in patients with bacillary dysentery. Methods The pathogenic bacteria of suitable specimen were detected in 335 patients with dysentery-like diarrhea which were diagnosed clinically, and drug sensitivity test of positive specimen of Shigella was done. Results Sixty-six strains pathogenic bacteria of suitable specimen in 335 patients with dysentery-like diarrhea were detected, including 30 strains of Shigella,8 strains of Escherichia coli,17 strains of Proteus species,10 strains of Vibrio parahaemolyticus,1 strain of Staphylococcusaureus, and no Salmonella. Most parts of Shigellae were sensitive to drugs of cefatrizine, levofloxaun and cefazolin, and resisted to drugs of ampicillin, nalidixic acid, achromycin and rifampicin. Conclusion Shigellae is still the majority of pathogen in patients with dysentery-like diarrhea in Haidian District, most of Shigellae are sensitive to drugs of cefatrizine, levofloxaun and cefazolin.
