Science and Technology During the Yuan Dynasty and Their Social Background

During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, China's traditional science and technology were at high tide, with their peak occurring during the Yuan Dynasty. This paper aims to bring up the entire level of the science and technology of the Yuan Dynasty, examining their politics, economy, philosophical way of thinking, cultural interaction and social correlation. Also, the social reasons for the rise and fall of the development of science and technology during the Yuan Dynasty are discussed.
