Abstract
The Kekuxilik lead—zinc ore deposit located in West Kunlun area and is the vein type of deposit, which located in the platform edge, the wall rock is Mesoproterozoic carbonate rock, the ore bodies existed in the interlayer fault fracture zone in the Mesoproterozoic marble and its shapes and attitude are simple. The main ore-controlling facts are the marble and the interlayer fault fracture zone. And these interlayer fault fracture zone controlled the distribution of ore bodies. The ore-forming process of the Kekuxilik lead—zinc ore deposit was different from that of Tamu lead—zinc ore deposit and the Kalangu lead—zinc ore deposit on the studied results of the microelements and rare earth elements: the differences of contents of microelements and rare earth elements and the ratio of U/Th are obvious between the ores and wall rocks in the Kekuxilik lead—zinc ore deposit, but that are the same between the ores and wall rocks in the Tamu lead—zinc ore deposit and the Kalangu lead—zinc ore deposit. These studied results suggest that the ore-forming fluids jointed in the hydrothermal ore-forming solutions in the Kekuxilik lead—zinc ore deposit. The Proterozoic marble is distributed widely in the area and the interlayer fault fracture zone developed well, and the lead—zinc mineralization had been found in the interlayer fault fracture zones such as in Nanshan area, the Pb, Zn, Au, Wu anomaly of natural heavy concentrate survey and stream sediment survey are very evident. The ore-forming prospects and potentialities are favorable in Kekuxilik area.
