Abstract

Research achievements of tension behavior of anchors in conctrete at home and abroad are presented.Five failure modes of anchors subjected to tension loads may occur.Among these failure modes,concrete breakout failure is the most common.Factors affecting the tension-resistance bearing capacity of anchors are discussed.Also contrast analysis on formulae used for computation of tension-resistance bearing capacity of anchors is conducted.At last some advices are given for further research.
