Abstract
【Objective】 The aim was to explore photosynthetic indexes in leaves of adzuki beans with different yields to improve the cultivation of new varieties with high yield and quality.【Method】 The study was conducted using the leaves at different flowering nodes in the high-yield adzuki bean variety Bao 200112-20,and low-yield varieties Baihong 5 and Suhong 02-11 adopted in the summer planting region. Then the changes of photosynthetic characteristics at the late growth stage were explored.【Result】 After flowering,as the leaves aged, the net photosynthetic rate(Pn),transpiration rate(Tr),stomata conductance(Gs) and water use efficiency(WUE) gradually decreased, while intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci) increased. The Photosynthetic characteristics of different leaf nodes declined slowly from top to bottom at the same time. The results of correlation analysis showed that yield was significantly positively correlated with the average Pn.There was a significant correlation between Tr,Gs and Pn,and Ci was significantly negatively correlated with Pn.【Conclusion】 The photosynthetic capacity in leaves of high-yield adzuki bean cultivars was significantly higher than that of low-yield adzuki bean cultivars.
