Abstract
Poetry,with affluent cultural connotations,is regarded as the quintessence of a language.In this sense,poetry translation is both across languages and across cultures.Form and rhyme combination in trans-lation is not only indispensable,but also possible.By analyzing poetic translation in rhythmic and formal di-mensions,the paper proposes that rhyme and metre is the key factor in reproducing of the elegance of the orig-inal in terms of rhyme and metre.
