Strategies to Optimize Urban and Rural Land Use Structure and Layout in Togtoh County

The structure and layout of urban and rural land use directly or indirectly affects the intensity of land use.Through a systematic analysis about the history,amount and structure of construction land use in Togtoh,this article shows that urban and rural construction land use and land use of independent factories and mines increase rapidly;no obvious changes can be seen in rural residential land;there are remarkable contradictions between supply and demand;the average rural residential land is larger;construction land use is not efficient and intense.Consequently,the article puts forward some strategies for the solution of these problems.
